Frequently Asked Questions

What is Advanced Nutrients Cultivator Series Bloom and how does it differ from other bloom nutrients?

Advanced Nutrients Cultivator Series Bloom is an 8th-generation water-soluble powder fertilizer with an NPK of 3-13-26, engineered specifically for the flowering (bloom) phase of plant growth. What sets it apart from other bloom nutrients is its phase-specific formulation — it is the only 3-part water-soluble system on the market designed to precisely address plants’ unique macro, secondary, and micronutrient demands during the generative (flowering) stage. It delivers high phosphorus (13%) and potassium (26%) to drive flower development, alongside chelated micronutrients (iron, manganese, zinc, copper) for complete nutrition. Made with pharmaceutical-grade inputs from Haifa, it achieves a cost-per-gallon of 3.9¢ or less — making it one of the most cost-effective professional bloom nutrients available. It contains no paclobutrazol, daminozide, or banned plant growth regulators.

What hydroponic systems is the Cultivator Series Bloom compatible with, and how do you mix it?

Cultivator Series Bloom is a water-soluble powder designed for use with all continuous liquid-feed hydroponic growing systems, including aeroponics, drip irrigation and emitters, NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), flood and drain (ebb and flow), and deep water culture (DWC). It is also compatible with diverse hydroponic growing media including rockwool, coco coir, clay pebbles, and perlite. To mix, dissolve the powder in water before adding to your reservoir — always add nutrients to water, not water to nutrients. Application rates range from 4 g/gal in early and late bloom to 6 g/gal during peak flowering weeks (Weeks 4–7). It swaps seamlessly with any other 3-part fertilizer system, requiring no major adjustments to your existing regimen.

What is the NPK of Cultivator Series Bloom and what do the numbers mean for flowering plants?

Cultivator Series Bloom has an NPK of 3-13-26 — meaning 3% nitrogen, 13% phosphorus (as P₂O₅), and 26% potassium (as K₂O). During the bloom phase, plants shift their nutritional priorities dramatically: they require less nitrogen (to slow vegetative growth), high phosphorus (to initiate and sustain flower development and energy transfer), and high potassium (to support carbohydrate transport, terpene synthesis, and overall flower density and weight). The 3-13-26 ratio is specifically calibrated for this generative phase. The formula also includes 3% magnesium, 7% sulfur, and a full chelated micronutrient package (iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron, molybdenum) to ensure complete nutrition without deficiencies that could limit yield or potency.

Can Cultivator Series Bloom be used for cannabis, and does it improve terpene and cannabinoid production?

Yes. Advanced Nutrients Cultivator Series Bloom is explicitly formulated to help unlock a crop’s full capacity for cannabinoid, terpene, and flower production. Its high-phosphorus, high-potassium formulation supports the energy-intensive processes of flower initiation, resin production, and terpene biosynthesis during the bloom phase. The inclusion of sulfur (7%) is particularly relevant for terpene and flavor compound development, as sulfur is a key building block in many aromatic compounds. The chelated micronutrient package ensures plants have access to all cofactors needed for enzymatic processes involved in secondary metabolite production. Backed by 25 years of Advanced Nutrients plant science, it is trusted by commercial cannabis cultivators seeking to maximize both yield and crop value.
