The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is the next generation of the EL controller series, engineered to maximize the performance of compatible Gavita and Sun System fixtures. The EL3 gives you full command over your grow room lighting environment — set sunrise/sunset dimming schedules, configure high-temperature dimming, and program automatic high-temperature shut-off across all connected fixtures from a single controller.

Build and program complete lighting schedules for your entire growing cycle, and when using a compatible Gavita or Sun System LED fixture, monitor performance at the individual fixture level. Connect up to 16 Titan Controls® environmental sensors (sold separately) to track critical environmental data including VWC and EC via the Triton™ Substrate Sensor, or VPD via the Tali VPD Sensor. Each EL3 includes a Titan Sensor Adaptor Cable (packaged separately) for seamless sensor integration.

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is the successor to the EL2 Gen 2 and introduces several key upgrades. The most significant addition is expanded environmental sensor support — the EL3 connects to up to 16 Titan Controls® sensors, enabling growers to monitor VWC, EC, and VPD data directly through the controller. The EL3 also offers enhanced schedule programming capabilities and individual fixture-level performance monitoring when used with compatible Gavita or Sun System LED fixtures. If you are currently running an EL2 Gen 2 setup and looking to add substrate or VPD monitoring to your grow room, the EL3 is the recommended upgrade path.

Is the Gavita EL3 compatible with my existing Gavita or Sun System fixtures?

The Gavita Master Controller EL3 is compatible with Gavita and Sun System fixtures that feature an EL (Ethernet Link) port. This includes a wide range of Gavita Pro LED and HPS fixtures as well as Sun System LED models. To confirm compatibility with your specific fixture, check the EL port designation on your fixture or consult the Gavita compatibility chart. The EL3 is not compatible with fixtures that lack an EL port or that use a different control protocol. If you are building a new grow room, pairing the EL3 with current-generation Gavita Pro LED fixtures is the recommended configuration for full feature access including individual fixture monitoring and sensor integration.

Address Change / Order Cancellation

Once the order is shipped, we will do our best to perform an address intercept. You will be charged an Intercept Fee imposed by the shipping carrier. This fee varies from each carrier. Please note not all shipping carriers will accept address intercept changes.

If an order is canceled in transit, you are solely responsible for all shipping charges incurred by the Shipping Carrier.

Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Tracking

Once an order has been shipped, we will send an email and text message on file with the tracking number. If your order is fulfilled from multiple vendors or locations, you will receive shipment confirmations with tracking for each shipment. 

In addition, you can check the status of your order through the order confirmation email or within your profile page under Track Order.

Freight (LTL)

Scheduled appointments deliver freight shipments. You are responsible for inspecting for damage incurred in transit and signing before the driver leaves. DO NOT accept the shipment if there is any damage. If your freight shipment arrives damaged, contact us immediately.

Once delivered, we cannot reimburse paid freight charges or refund products.

Some restrictions may apply; Hawaii and Alaska do not qualify for free shipping offers.

Damaged Shipment

It rarely happens, but once in a while, products are damaged during Shipping. Therefore, please scrutinize all shipments for damaged or missing items before signing for them (if required).

The shipping carrier is responsible for items damaged during Shipping, which will most often be UPS, FedEx, or USPS. 

If assistance is needed, please get in touch with us immediately. Seres cannot promise refunds or replacements if this is not done within 72 hours. 

By signing your name and accepting shipment for a Freight(LTL) order, you get no reimbursement of freight charges, order costs, or any other charges incurred.

Lead Times

Please note that there is up to a 7-day processing period for orders containing Hawthorne products.

Signature

Due to the valuable contents of many products we sell,  the carrier may need a signature upon delivery. Please understand that this is a measure our company took to ensure safe delivery and fraud protection.

Third-Party Carriers will attempt to deliver a signature-required order three times. 

Please follow up with the carrier for assistance if a missed-delivery note is received.
