CARE AND USE — OPEN AIR CALIBRATION PROCEDURE

1. Remove the membrane
Take the membrane off the end of the probe and dry the diode off.

2. Zero out the display
Connect the probe to the base unit and turn on. Display should read 0.0. If not, use the "0" screw on the front to adjust.

3. Fill the membrane
Place the O-ring inside the membrane on the shoulder at the base of the threads. Fill with MA9071 electrolyte solution just short of the O-ring. Ensure no air bubbles are present.

4. Attach the membrane
Screw the membrane onto the probe.

5. Let stabilize
Turn the meter on, hang the probe pointing down off a table edge, and let the display stabilize (5–15 minutes).

6. Adjust
Hold the "Cal" button and use the screwdriver to adjust the "100%" Cal position until the display reads 100. You are now calibrated.
